Today, the Labour government has announced the biggest ever cash boost to help councils tackle homelessness and rough sleeping.
Almost a billion pounds is being invested across the country, with the East of England set to receive £78 million.
In Labour-run Norwich, rough sleeping numbers have declined year on year for the last three years – bucking the national trend. But any one person sleeping on the streets or facing homelessness is one too many and we remain committed to making sure everyone has a secure, decent home.
